Barcelona vs A-League All Stars Goal & Full Highlights 3-2

Barcelona took a trip to Australia after wrapping up the regular season to take on the vest best the A-League has to offer. While it was a mere friendly for the Catalans, the All-Stars had a reputation to uphold against a crowd of more than 70,000.

After a tightly contested opening half-an-hour, Barcelona took the lead through Ousmane Dembele, who found himself unmarked on the left-wing. He slotted the ball into the bottom right corner after a slick pass from Xavi, and the visitors headed into the break leading a goal to nil.

Arnau Tenas replaced Marc-Andre ter Stegen in the second half, and was called into action immediately as left-winger Reno Piscopo equalised in the 47th minute.

The Australian forward then completely overturned the deficit with an assist to left-back Adama Traore, who marauded down the flank to score for the All Stars.

His namesake, Barcelona’s Adama Traore, took that personally, and got his first – and possible last – goal in Barcelona’s colours in the 71st minute. His viscious striker from inside the box was stopped by the goalkeeper, but it eventually dropped into the net.

The Spaniard was substituted soon after scoring, with Ansu Fati replacing him. It took three minutes for the teenager to get on the score sheet himself as he made the most of Antonio Aranda’s superb solo run, finishing into the bottom corner.

Eventually, Jandro Orellana got a ten-minute run with the team, replacing Sergio Busquets, with Dani Alves, Ronald Araujo, and Ousmane Dembele as the only players who were on the pitch for all of the 90 minutes.

This officially brings the season to a close for Barcelona. The players will not depart for international duty before eventually returning for the pre-season in July.
