Following a hectic few weeks for Chelsea, the Blues can once again turn their attentions back to the Premier League as they host Arsenal at Stamford Bridge. Thomas Tuchel’s men welcome a Gunners side currently in stuttering form as the season edges towards its final throes.
Mikel Arteta’s men have lost their last three matches in the Premier League – the latest defeat coming in the form of a 1-0 reverse at the hands of Southampton on the south coast. Meanwhile, Chelsea’s season now appears firmly back on track after a very distinct wobble.
Following heavy defeats at the hands of Brentford and Real Madrid – the Spanish giants inflicting a heartbreaking Champions League exit on the Blues – Chelsea reacted in perfect fashion with a 6-0 thumping of Southampton. They then followed that up by easing past Premier League rivals Crystal Palace into the FA Cup final – the third consecutive season that the west Londoners have reached the Wembley showpiece.
The busy fixture calendar certainly appears to have hit the Blues hard though. Croatian playmaker Mateo Kovacic was forced off during the first-half of the FA Cup clash with Palace and it remains to be seen whether he will be able to return for the upcoming showdown with the Gunners. Meanwhile, Ross Barkley, Ben Chilwell and Callum Hudson-Odoi all remain restricted to the sidelines.
With all of that being said, take a look at the full Chelsea squad at Tuchel’s disposal below.
